Job summary

Calvert County Public Schools seeks an Equity Liaison for Calvert Elementary School in Prince Frederick, MD. This internal position will support building-level equity initiatives, recruit and chair a school equity team, and lead monthly equity activities to advance access and opportunity for all students.

The role requires collaboration with administrators and staff to develop an equity action plan, provide professional development, and communicate progress to the school community.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership with annual Building Equity Action Plan.
• Lead four full-day and three after-school Equity Leadership Team meetings.
• Recruit and chair a school equity team.
• Plan and facilitate monthly equity team meetings.
• Provide school-wide equity professional development including countywide modules.
• Assist leadership in analyzing school data through an equity lens.
• Create monthly communications for the school community.
• Submit quarterly/evidence logs to the District Equity Supervisor.
