Job summary

Qualifications

• MSDE professional certificate or license or eligibility through the pathways described.
• Five years of certificated or licensed educator experience, with at least two years at the middle school level.
• Two years of leadership experience beyond the classroom.
• Other combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.

• Assist the principal in providing effective leadership and implementing the system’s mission at the school level.
• Promote equity and educational policy understanding across the school and community.
• Maintain a safe, orderly school environment conducive to learning.
• Support student voice and engagement in the academic process.
