Job summary

School Administrative Unit 70 in Hanover, New Hampshire, is seeking a Systems and Network Administrator to design, install, and maintain the core IT infrastructure—firewalls, switches, wireless APs, and servers—while supporting software and hardware across the district.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a technical role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred.
• Knowledge of security and privacy regulations (CIPA and FERPA) applicable to public schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the effective functioning of a wide range of systems including Google Workspace for Education and Microsoft 365.
• Administer accounts while managing permissions, Single Sign On, and Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Utilize MDM platforms to automate OS deployments, enforce compliance policies, and manage devices.
• Serve as a high-level escalation point for complex system disruptions, server downtime, software errors, and hardware issues.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents in accordance with district plans.
