Job summary

Questeq is seeking an on-site Network Administrator for the Hopewell Area School District to plan, implement, and maintain the district's technology infrastructure, focusing on data center systems and enterprise networking.

You will support multiple locations, manage servers, Active Directory, and core network services, and coordinate with the NOC for hardware and software upkeep across the district.

Qualifications

• Design, specification, installation and support of local and wide area networks.
• Strong prioritization and project management skills.
• Microsoft Active Directory & Group Policy experience.
• Microsoft SCCM experience preferred.
• Azure/EMS experience desirable.
• Knowledge of IP routing and bandwidth management.
• Wireless networking experience.
• Windows 7+ experience; endpoint deployment.
• SharePoint experience desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides network infrastructure support for a school district environment across multiple locations.
• Manages server hardware and operating systems (physical and virtual).
• Ensures server availability with proactive monitoring and change management.
• Implements redundancy and failover for virtualized environments.
• Maintains backups for servers, data stores, and databases.
• Manages Active Directory and domain contexts for computers, groups, and users.
• Supports SIS, Gradebook, LMS, and other school systems.
• Collaborates with NOC to maintain core/edge networking components.
• Configures network protocols and addressing; maintains Internet connectivity.
• Handles daily help desk queue with established response thresholds.
