Compass Group USA is hiring a Food Service Worker at Avon Old Farms School in Avon, CT. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Requires knife skills and customer service experience. Free meals and uniforms are provided at select locations.

Qualifications

Previous knife skills and customer service experience required.
Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Responsibilities

Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations in accordance with safety standards.
Stores food following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
Maintains clean work areas, equipment and utensils.
Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
Uses approved recipes to ensure quality and portion control.
Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
