Job summary

Compass Group USA seeks a full-time Cold Food (Salad) specialist at Avon Old Farms School, Avon, CT. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. Prior high-volume experience is preferred.

Perks include training and internal referral bonuses. Pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, with free meals and uniforms where applicable. Responsibilities include preparing deli items, coordinating with the chef, stocking products, and maintaining HACCP-compliant hygiene.

Qualifications

• Previous high volume experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves sandwiches, salads and other cold food items.
• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from Chef.
• Preps deli meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved portions.
• Stocks and replenishes deli/cold products following guidelines.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains work areas per HACCP standards.
• Operates slicing machine; slices meats and cheeses to thickness.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment per ServSafe requirements.
• Assists coworkers to meet service standards and inventory control.
