Job summary

Virginia Beach City Public Schools is seeking a focused SIS Clerk to manage the gradebook, coordinate data entry for the master schedule, and run student information system reports. You will also provide backup support to the attendance secretary and develop queries for school personnel.

The role involves serving as the primary liaison between the school and the Department of Technology's Customer Support Center and performing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Coursework and training in computer software preferred.
• Comparable training/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the gradebook manager.
• Coordinate data entry in the master schedule.
• Run SIS reports and processes.
• Serve as a backup to the attendance secretary.
• Develop and run various queries for school personnel.
• Run and review edit reports.
• Attend SIS focus group meetings.
• Be the primary contact between the school and the Customer Support Center of the Department of Technology.
• Perform related work as required.
