Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• On the job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas such as classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices and stairways.
• Sweep, mop floors, remove debris and clean spills in designated areas.
• Regularly check and empty trash receptacles in all designated areas.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
• Notify lead cleaner or manager of repairs or additions to building systems.
• Maintain communication with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors and managers.
• Sort and recycle materials into proper receptacles.
• Dust and wipe desks, chairs, tables, furniture, fixtures, doors and walls; polish wood and stainless surfaces.
• Clean tabletops and equipment in food areas.
• Move cabinets, boxes and furniture with or without hand trucks to access areas.
• Clean interior glass, windows, partitions and mirrors using appropriate cleaners.
• Sweep exterior walkways, rake leaves and perform seasonal tasks as needed.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and hygiene.
