Job summary

LifeStance Health is seeking a master’s-level clinician to work in school-based programs, serving students at Delano and neighboring districts. You will engage with families, coordinate referrals, and provide psychotherapy within school hours, with potential afternoon/evening availability.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a mental health field, has at least six months of relevant community-based therapy experience, and is proficient with EHRs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health field is required.
• Minimum of six months’ experience in Mental Health as a Community Based Therapist in CTSS or ARMHS.
• Experience with psychotherapy and diagnostic assessments.
• Experience with Foster Providers, Adoption, and County Social Services.
• Knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health.
• Knowledge of varied interventions with children/families/individuals in crisis.
• Proficient with computers for documenting and communicating with clients and staff.
• Strong ability to manage a flexible schedule and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical charting using the EHR daily.
• Update and maintain client files per guidelines.
• Secure all client information per HIPAA standards.
• Prepare written reports and state-mandated documents.
• Manage a caseload that meets weekly billable time requirements.
• Participate in meetings with internal and external partners.
