Job summary

Rio Hondo Independent School District is seeking a Substitute/Cafeteria Substitute to support daily meal service at district facilities. The role requires a valid driver's license, basic arithmetic, and the ability to follow food preparation and safety instructions.

You will help prepare and serve food to meet menu requirements while upholding sanitation, quality, and safety standards under the Cafeteria Manager and Food Service Director.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to understand food preparation and safety instructions.
• Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production procedures.
• Ability to operate large and small kitchen equipment and tools.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve appropriate quantities of food to meet menu requirements. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and safety proactices and any other duties as assigned by Cafeteria Manager and/or Food Service Director.
