Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in school cafeteria food prep/serving preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions.
• Must complete simple math calculations and read/write sentences.
• Able to learn sanitation guidelines and follow health standards.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares garnishes and serves food items to ensure quality and consistency.
• Follows USDA/state/local guidelines while serving food on the line.
• Receives and stores food in stockrooms, freezers, and refrigerators.
• Cleans work surfaces, tables, counters, floors, and equipment.
• Maintains sanitary conditions per health and safety standards.
• Washes pots, pans, kettles, and other utensils.
• Assists in estimating, ordering, receiving, and stocking food supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
