• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in cafeteria food service preferred by Board.
• Basic bookkeeping and inventory familiarity.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and nutrition guidelines.
• Ability to plan and supervise a kitchen operation.
• Able to adjust recipes for large quantities.
• Capable of maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare meals on time following planned menus and guidelines.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in kitchen and cafeteria.
• Prepare food using uniform recipes and assess quality.
• Coordinate with school nurse on dietary needs and allergies.
• Store and refrigerate foods properly; monitor temperatures.
• Determine daily quantities and serving sizes.
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure safe equipment use.
• Oversee serving, cleaning, and sanitation of areas.
• Maintain inventories and secure storeroom.
• Complete reports and communicate with supervisors.
