Skyline Schools in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snack meals for 250–350 students in a 6th–12th setting. The role requires following recipes, maintaining clean workstations, and complying with health and nutrition standards.

The cook will operate kitchen equipment, monitor temperatures, read menus, estimate production needs, and coordinate with the cafeteria team to ensure timely meal service and proper portions.

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent experience: High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of related kitchen work experience, K-12 preferred.
• Food Handlers/Card required; ServSafe optional.

Responsabilités

• Prepare Breakfast, Lunch, snacks for students in a 6th-12th setting.
• Set up cafeteria line with proper temperatures and serving utensils.
• Operate kitchen equipment to measure, mix, and prepare ingredients.
• Read menus, estimate food requirements, and plan production orders.
• Maintain clean, sanitary workstations and follow health procedures.
• Serve meals on the line meeting regulatory portions/requirements.
• Pull daily production needs from storeroom for next day/ week.
