Rite of Passage is hiring a Cook for Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, Arizona. You will prepare healthy meals, assist with kitchen sanitation, and maintain inventory to meet program requirements.

The role involves ensuring all safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards are followed, with a five-days-on/two-days-off schedule and full-time benefits. Prior supervisory experience is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three years.
• Ability to pass criminal background clearance, drug screen, physical and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in the prepping and cooking of food.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in kitchen, dining area, and related facilities.
• Maintain inventory logs of supplies, materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and national program requirements.
• Adhere to Rite of Passage Policies and Procedures.
