Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. You will ensure safety, compliance with traffic laws, and bus maintenance while fostering a calm, caring environment for children.

Applicants must hold a CDL with passenger endorsement, maintain a clean driving record, and pass background and drug testing. The role includes compliance with LifeWise Academy policies and potential classroom volunteering as agreed.

Qualifications

• CDL driver license required with passenger endorsement (P).
• Age 21–80; annual documentation for drivers over 75.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or violations in 5 years.
• Must pass background check and drug/alcohol testing as required.
• Undergo physician statement if medically required.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and volunteers to/from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and supervise behavior.
• Complete training and participate in LifeWise Academy programs.
