Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. You will be responsible for safe driving, maintaining the bus, and enforcing classroom safety rules while fostering a calm, caring environment for children.

The role requires a CDL with passenger endorsement, a clean driving record, and successful completion of background checks and FMCSA clearinghouse checks. Training and compliance with LifeWise policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church with doctrine aligned to LifeWise beliefs.
• CDL with endorsement for passenger vehicle (P) required; school bus (S) endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety and perform regular inspections.
• Refuel and operate bus following traffic laws and safety rules.
• Assist students entering/exiting and enforce safety rules.
