Job summary

LifeWise Academy is hiring a part-time vehicle driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. You will ensure safety, obey traffic laws, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness.

The role requires a mature Christian faith, active church involvement, and a valid driver’s license with potential CDL endorsement for larger vehicles. Background checks and drug testing are required.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Regular driver's license; maintain continuous licensing for past 3 years.
• CDL with Passenger endorsement for 15+ passenger vehicles; or van with no special license.
• Age between 21 and 80 years.
• No at-fault accidents or major violations in 5 years; medical clearance after 75.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
• Assist students entering/exiting; stay calm and caring.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if approved by Director.
