Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age; in Tennessee states, at least 25 years of age per state law.
• Must possess or obtain and maintain all valid state licenses and certifications to operate company vehicles.
• Must meet physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
• Must satisfactorily complete and pass all training.
• Must practice defensive driving at all times and avoid accidents by safe driving.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and reliable transportation by operating a school bus or other vehicle with fixed or changing route.
• Exhibits high ethical standards and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Reports for duty on time and maintains route on time regardless of conditions.
• Physically assists passengers in evacuation if needed.
• Reports any accident or incident per company policy.
• Follows company policy on student and passenger management.
• Presents a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Completes required paperwork and submits it timely.
• Maintains cooperative attitude with employees, customers, and passengers.
