Job summary

Summit School Services is hiring School Bus Drivers in Cincinnati, OH. CDL training is provided, with flexible part-time schedules that avoid nights, weekends, or holidays. Drivers transport students on local routes, with guaranteed hours and opportunities for extra routes and field trips.

New and experienced drivers are welcome; training leads to CDL permits and full licenses while offering benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no CDL needed to start).
• Must have held a driver’s license for at least 3 years (5 years in TN/WA).
• DOT drug screen, physical, and background check required.
• Compliance with DOT regulations (marijuana prohibited).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus on assigned local routes.
• Transport students to and from school, sports, and events.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe bus environment.
• Communicate courteously with students, parents, and school staff.
• Follow all federal, state, local, and company safety rules.
