Job summary

Student Transportation of Canada is seeking School Bus Drivers in New York, NY for a flexible part-time role. No experience required, as we provide FREE training to obtain a Class-G license and start driving for us.

Drive weekdays on predetermined routes, typically 7:00–9:30 am and 2:00–4:00 pm, with summers off and holidays. Part-time, flexible employment (15–20 hours per week) at about $21.07 per hour.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training for free to obtain a Class-G license.
• Part-time, flexible schedule (15–20 hours/week).
• Mon–Fri shifts with morning and afternoon routes.

Responsibilities

• Drive school bus to pick up and drop off students on predetermined routes.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers and follow traffic rules.

What do School Bus Drivers do?

It's pretty simple, in the morning we pick up school aged passengers from predetermined locations and then deliver them to school. In the afternoon, we do the exact same thing, just in reverse order; we take them from school back home (once again at predetermined locations).

School Bus Drivers operateMonday - Friday, from September until the end of June...that's right,summers off. Depending upon your specific route, you could work anywhere from 7 am - 9:30 am then again in the afternoon from about 2 pm - 4 pm.
