Le Sueur-Henderson Public Schools is seeking individuals to drive school buses or vans. The district will provide training and compensate you during training, and assist with obtaining required certifications.
You will drive for the local school district as a district employee, contributing directly to student safety and transportation services, with opportunities to grow into a full driver role.
Interested in becoming a school bus or van driver but don’t have the required certifications yet? We’ll help you get there.
Le Sueur-Henderson Public Schools is willing to provide the required training and pay you for your time while you complete it. You don’t need to come to us with all of the certifications—we can help you through the process of becoming a qualified school bus or van driver.
You’d be driving for the local school district - not a for-profit contractor. As a district-employed driver, your time and effort directly support our students and our schools.
As a driver, you’ll play an important role in helping our students get to and from school safely while becoming a valued member of our transportation team.
Our AM & PM route drivers receive $45 per route or $90 per daily. Additional route time for day time activities or additional routes to be paid at an additional $30 per hour.
