Job summary

The role supports students with behavioral and developmental needs within the school, implementing BIPs and collaborating with the Special Education team. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of 40-hour ABA Modules within 90 days of hire.
• Prior training in crisis intervention preferred.
• Experience with students with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles.
• Ability to work with students, teachers and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement BIPs under supervision in school settings.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support during activities.
• Teach social, communication, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.
• Collect and record data on student behavior and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to integrate strategies.
• Support independence with fade strategies and routines.
• Monitor behavior and apply BCBA/BIP procedures.
• Participate in meetings to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide support in structured and unstructured environments.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.
