Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related fields such as Psychology.
• 1-3 years previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders in educational settings.
• Training and experience using the tenets and techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Willingness to learn Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA-based programming for students with developmental or behavioral needs.
• Create teaching materials aligned with academic, social-language and behavioral goals.
• Assist in functional assessment and analysis and deliver ABA-based programming.
• Report to supervisor-level behavior analysts and use feedback to refine programs.
• Maintain a program book and summarize weekly progress of academic and behavioral programming.
• Support students during transitions to optimize social interactions throughout the day.
• Assist in all aspects of the school day, including duties and potential travel within the local area.
