Job summary

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a School-Based Therapist to deliver both group and individual therapy in a Cincinnati elementary setting on a 10-month schedule. The role focuses on trauma-informed, culturally responsive care and collaboration with families and school teams.

The ideal candidate has an Ohio license (LSW/LISW, LPC, or LPCC) and a Master’s degree in a related field, with experience in school or mental health settings and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio license: LSW/LISW, LPC, or LPCC.
• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Experience in school, office, or mental health settings.
• Experience facilitating groups and providing individual therapy; crisis response.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with children and families.
• Facilitate group therapy within the Day Treatment program.
• Provide individual therapy based on treatment goals and needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation and communicate with caregivers and school staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
