Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work or other mental health related field.
• Ohio licensure in either counseling or social work.
• At minimum 3 years' experience in providing mental health counseling.
• Experience in an urban school setting preferred.
• Spanish bilingual therapist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive and trauma informed counseling services.
• Consult with teachers and provide management strategies for student behaviors.
• Use evidence-based techniques to improve behaviors in children and families.
• Participate in determining student intervention plans when requested.
• Communicate regularly with school administration on student progress.
• Provide crisis intervention to students and monitor behavioral progress.
