Job summary

PsychPros, Inc. is seeking a School-Based Therapist to join a Cincinnati public high school on a full-time basis. The role requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field and current Ohio licensure (LSW/LISW/LPC/LPCC).

A valid driver’s license and driving to school sites are also expected. You will provide both individual and group therapy, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers and families to support students’ needs and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
• Licensed in Ohio as LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC.
• Valid driver’s license and insured automobile.
• 3+ years of experience working with adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy using developmentally appropriate approaches.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Offer behavioral strategies and emotional support to help students succeed in the classroom.
• Provide consultation to teachers on student needs and behavior plans.
• Partner with school personnel to identify student needs and coordinate appropriate services.
• Participate in student support teams, IEP/504 meetings, and other school-based interventions.
• Communicate with caregivers and external providers to support continuity of care.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments.
