Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Genoa, OH is seeking a full-time Therapist to join our School-Based Therapy Team. You will provide individual, group, and family counseling to youth and families, collaborate with foster caregivers and school staff, and support treatment planning and safety interventions in the community.

In this role you will coordinate care, document progress, and participate in supervision and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field required.
• 2 years of direct youth and family experience preferred.
• Experience with TF-CBT preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible/non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family mental health services and case management.
• Travel daily to deliver community-based services for youth and families.
• Complete documentation and training promptly.
• Coordinate and monitor services across health, education, and social domains.
• Maintain relationships with foster families and families of origin.
• Support safety assessment, crisis response, and youth stabilization.
