Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking a full-time Therapist for our School-Based Therapy Team at Jerusalem Elementary in Curtice, OH. The role focuses on counseling and advocacy to help youth and families live safely and successfully in the community.

Responsibilities include individual, group, and family therapy, care coordination, and daily travel to provide community-based services. The position offers generous PTO and holidays, comprehensive health coverage, CEU opportunities,

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of work experience with youth and families preferred.
• TF-CBT experience preferred and beneficial.
• Valid professional license as required by state/contract regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, transportation, and related professional services.
• Travel daily to deliver community-based services to youth and families.
• Complete documentation and training in a timely manner.
• Maintain productivity thresholds and coordinate services across education, medical, mental health, and social services.
• Develop and monitor youth-based plans with families and foster caregivers.
