National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Dayton, Ohio seeks a full-time Therapist to support PASS-PSB and Health Ways teams, providing counseling, advocacy, and community-based services to youth and families under supervision.

The role includes daily travel, documentation, collaboration with foster parents, and meeting community outcomes. NYAP offers generous time off, healthcare, CEUs, loan repayment, and retirement benefits.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field is required.
• 2 years of work experience in direct service with youth and families is strongly preferred.
• Valid professional license as required by state or contract regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible and non-tritional hours for foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served.
• Capacity to be flexible and responsive to diverse backgrounds and internal customers.
• Proficient use of computers and common software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).

Responsabilidades

• Provides individual, group, and family mental health services.
• Travels daily to deliver community-based services to youth and families.
• Completes required documentation and training timely.
• Maintains productivity thresholds.
• Coordinates and monitors services for youth and families across multiple domains.
• Reviews and updates youth plans to ensure progress toward goals.
• Establishes relationships with foster parents and families of origin.
• Supports family reunification and stable living arrangements.
• Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and stabilization as needed.
• Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement and weekly supervision.
