Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Therapist for the Community-Based Therapy Team. The role involves counseling youth and families, advocacy, and supporting safety and successful community living.

You will travel daily in the community, document promptly, and participate in supervision, training, and program quality activities. A Master’s in Social Work and an LSW/LISW/LPCC/LPC license are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field.
• 2 years of direct service experience with youth and families preferred.
• Valid professional license: LSW, LISW, LPCC, or LPC.
• Willingness to work flexible/non-traditional hours.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures, backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family mental health services.
• Travels daily to deliver community-based services.
• Completes documentation in a timely manner.
• Participates in supervision and CQI activities.
• Coordinates and monitors services for youth and families.
