Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) seeks a full-time Therapist for the School-Based Therapy Team in Arcadia, Ohio. The role focuses on counseling and advocacy to support youth and families, with travel to community sites as needed.

Compensation is $55,000-58,000 per year. NYAP offers extensive benefits including PTO, holidays, health coverage, and growth opportunities, plus retirement and reimbursement programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports, represents, and extends the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Provides individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, transportation, and other professional services, meeting/outperforming outcomes.
• Travels daily to provide community-based services to youth and families in compliance with requirements.
• Completes required documentation and training in a timely manner.
• Maintains productivity thresholds and coordinates care for youth and families in the community.
• Reviews/modifies youth-based plans to ensure progress toward goals.
• Builds relationships with foster parents and families of origin.
• Assists in reunification/stabilization efforts per youth case plans.
• Provides safety assessments, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization as needed.
