Advocate Health is expanding its School Based Services into Georgia and is seeking a passionate School Based Counselor to join our growing team. You will provide virtual therapy services to students in grades 5-12 within the school setting, supporting their mental health needs.

We require a Master's degree in a relevant field and full licensure in GA, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience. This full-time role follows a school schedule with weekday hours and no weekends, offering

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant human services field required.
• Full licensure in the applicable state required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.

Responsabilités

• Develops, implements and evaluates patient care according to identified needs.
• Manages clients in crisis using appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques.
• Writes treatment and discharge plans consistent with patient diagnosis, age and clinical presentation.
• Collaborates with guardians and community agencies to insure effective service delivery.
• Completes patient care assignments with attention to detail and accuracy. Provides accurate and consistent documentation of patient care/response in the medical record. Completes accurate and timely billing information.
• Designs, plans, implements effective patient education.
• Maintains open lines of communication, collaborates with healthcare team for patient outcome.
