Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant human services field is required.
• Full licensure in Georgia is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required.
• CPI and CPR training required for psychotherapist in inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and evaluates patient care according to identified needs.
• Manages clients in crisis utilizing appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques.
• Writes treatment plans and discharge plans based on client age and diagnosis.
• Collaborates with guardians and community agencies to insure effective service delivery.
• Documents patient care and billing information accurately.
• Designs, plans, and implements patient education.
• Maintains open communication with the healthcare team to improve outcomes.
