Qualifications

• Must hold current and valid certification as a teacher of speech and hearing impaired children in Massachusetts.
• CCC-SLP certification (Clinical Fellow may be considered).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to school staff in developing a balanced oral communication/speech improvement program.
• Provide therapeutic services to meet individual needs of students with speech and language impairments.
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of speech, voice, hearing and language impairments on request.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students.
• Collaborate with principals, teachers and parents on student progress.
• Provide in-service education and act as a consultant on speech improvement topics.
• Maintain thorough records and assist in screening procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or Superintendent.
