Job summary

Weldon City Schools seeks a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services supporting student achievement and access to the educational environment. You will evaluate, identify, and intervene for students with communication disorders in collaboration with educators and families.

The role involves direct and indirect therapy in various settings, development of IEP-based goals, Medicaid billing where applicable, and ensuring compliance with IDEA and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License.
• Eligibility for or possession of NC DPI SLP license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication evaluations for students suspected of having disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy programs aligned with IEPs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress reports.
