Simpson Central Elem School is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders. You will support students under IDEA, Section 504, and MDE regulations, ensuring equitable access to services.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Mississippi licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and MDE regulations related to speech services.
• Experience working with children in educational settings preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to provide therapy in individual and group settings.
• Commitment to student success and equitable access to services.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech and language disorders.
• Administer assessments and interpret results for eligibility.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to speech and language.
• Provide direct/indirect therapy in varied settings.

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary evaluations.
• Maintain documentation in line with IDEA, 504, and FERPA policies.
• Provide training and resources to staff on communication strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and information.
