Job summary

IREDELL-STATESVILLE SCHOOLS is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support students with communicative needs under the Executive Director of Exceptional Children. The clinician delivers services across articulation, language, voice, and fluency, coordinating with teachers and families and handling Medicaid documentation.

Responsibilities include screening, testing, developing IEPs, planning therapy, and supervising assistants.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Preference for CCC-SLP certification and NC licensure.
• Experience with Medicaid billing and IEP development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Screening and testing to assess articulation, language, voice, and fluency.
• Developing Individual Education Programs with educators, parents, and staff.
• Planning therapy and supervising assistants or fellows as needed.
• Maintaining Medicaid billing profiles and therapy notes.
