Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a School-based Clinician (LSW) to support youth and families in central Ohio. You will work within schools and in the community, providing advocacy, mental health services, and coordination of care to students and their families.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related human services field is required.
  • A valid LSW license in Ohio.
  • 2 years of direct youth and family service experience.
  • Willingness to work flexible, non-traditional hours including evenings.
  • Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family mental health services as required.
  • Coordinate and monitor community-based clinical services for youth and family.
  • Regularly review and update youth-based plans and goals.
  • Build strong relationships with youth, school staff, and families.
  • Provide crisis response and stabilization as needed.

School-based Clinician, LSWCompensation: $50,000 + Productivity Bonuses!School-based Clinician with National Youth Advocate Program work as part of an integral service team. Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee, this position works closely with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners, providing advocacy and support. When school is not in session during extended breaks and summer months, you will maintain your caseload and continue to provide services to your students by meeting with them in the community.
