Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for school-based positions in Pueblo, CO. The role supports K–12 students’ articulation, language, and social communication goals under supervision of a licensed SLP.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado SLPA license or eligibility to obtain.
• Colorado CDE authorization/certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP.
• Support K–12 students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals.
• Implement therapy plans and activities from supervising SLP.
• Collect data and maintain therapy documentation and progress notes.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams.
• Assist with preparing therapy materials and supporting student engagement.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain school documentation compliance.
