Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for school-based positions in Pueblo, CO. You will support K-12 students by providing speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

We offer flexible full-time or part-time schedules, W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, and 401(k) with company match. Licensure reimbursement and mileage between sites are also provided.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Colorado CDE authorization/certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals.
• Implement therapy plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP.
• Collect data and maintain therapy documentation and progress notes.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams.
• Assist with preparing therapy materials and supporting student engagement.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with school documentation requirements.
