Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists for a full-time school-based position in Burnsville, NC for the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports K-12 students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication, with mentorship for CFs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Licensure from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
• CFs encouraged to apply; strong communication and collaboration skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
