Job summary

Northwell Health in Bronx, NY is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive assessment, therapy, and intervention services to students under IFSPs and IEPs. This full-time role runs Mon-Fri, 8am-3pm, and focuses on delivering evidence-based evaluation and treatment in a school setting.

You will develop individualized plans, integrate AAC devices when appropriate, and collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• New York State SLP license.
• ASHA CCC credential.
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess students' speech, language, and communication development.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results and IFSP/IEP mandates.
• Integrate AAC devices and strategies as appropriate.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, teachers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to families and relevant school personnel.
