Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for school-based roles in Montrose, CO. You will support K–12 students by providing speech and language services that impact communication and learning.

This position welcomes Clinical Fellows (CFs) and offers mentorship, W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, a 401(k) match, and licensure/CEU reimbursement to help you grow in your school-based career.

Qualifications

• Colorado State SLP license (or ability to obtain)
• Colorado CDE Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• CFs encouraged to apply
• School-based experience preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K–12 school setting
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
