Job summary

Austill's Educational Therapy Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for school-based work with students from preschool through high school, under CCC supervision. The role emphasizes direct therapy, collaboration with teachers and families, and ongoing documentation and IEP updates.

The position includes recommendations for IEP meetings, potential case management, and occasional travel within the school day.

Qualifications

• CCC's preferred or Educational or Instructional Certificate.
• Experience working with children in the school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12 (SLPA-under supervision of CCC SLP)
• Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation (SLPA-under supervision of CCC-SLP)
• Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
• Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
• Case Management may be required (CCC-SLP only)
• AAC consultation may be required
• Some travel may be required throughout the school day
