Job summary

Austill's is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work full-time with students in grades K-12 in specialized autistic support classes in one district, with possible SLPA/CF supervision and AAC experience preferred.

We provide supportive education therapy managers, peer mentoring, ongoing professional development, and resources to balance caseloads and scheduling while delivering high-quality educational therapy services.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Speech and Language Pathology Program.
  • CCC's.
  • Educational or Instructional Certificate.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12.
  • Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
  • Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
  • Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
  • Case Management may be required.
  • AAC consultation may be required.
  • Some travel may be required throughout the school day.
