Job summary

Austill's seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide school-based therapy for students from preschool through grade 12 in a school setting, under CCC supervision as appropriate. This role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, families, and staff to support classroom mobility and participation.

The position includes data collection, progress updates, yearly IEP revisions, and attendance at IEP meetings. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech and Language Pathology Program.
• CCC's preferred or Educational or Instructional Certificate.
• Preferred candidates have experience working with children in the school setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12 under supervision of CCC SLP.
• Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
• Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
• Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
• Case Management may be required (CCC-SLP).
• AAC consultation may be required.
• Some travel may be required throughout the school day.
