Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in the Discovery Bay area. You will evaluate and treat speech and language needs within a collaborative team focused on classroom success.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a CA SLP license (CFs welcome). Relocation assistance, sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
• CFs welcome to apply.
• Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with various communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
