Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services Inc. is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students in the East Bay, CA area. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and providing direct therapy while collaborating with teachers and families to promote classroom success.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a CA SLP license (or eligibility). Relocation assistance and a competitive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active California SLP license or eligibility is required.
• Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy (individual and group) for students with communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
