Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in the East Bay, CA area. You will conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success.

You will provide direct therapy (individual and group) and help develop IEP goals while maintaining documentation and complying with school guidelines. This role offers growth, mentorship, and strong clinical support.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CA SLP license or eligibility required.
• Experience or interest in working with pediatric/school-based populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.

Education

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
