Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in the Greater Sacramento area. The role offers direct therapy, evaluation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to advance students' communication skills in the classroom.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
Active CA SLP license or eligibility is required/inc. eligibility.

Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based populations preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
